Bernadine Daniel Warren, the sister of Charlyne Daniel Hill, sister-in-law of Edwin J.W. Hill, Sr., was an advent churchgoer.

Bernadine belonged to the St. Paul A.M.E. Church.   The St. Paul A.M.E. church was the first church established in the African American community of Madison, Wisconsin.  The Congregation gained access to the A.M.E. Church, across the marshy landscape, via board walks. The building was to serve St. Paul A.M.E. Church’s Congregation, until the early 1960s.

Bernadine Warren was a Trustee and an Usher at St. Paul A.M.E. Church.  She regularly volunteered as a Chef at St. Paul A.M.E. Church socials.  Bernadine Warren loved to cook, and to serve people.
